A haven for birds, walks and quiet touring

The house is nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside. Relax outside and enjoy the views from the balcony, in this haven for birds and wildlife. Spotted woodpeckers and goldfinches feed at our bird tables — you may even be lucky enough to see a hare who has been known to sleep on the doorstep.

We have a nature trail around the farm for guests to enjoy. It passes the lake adjacent to Three Wells Farm Hotel. Walks start from the house, from a gentle stroll to hiking along a mountain pass. Two National Trails, Glyndŵr’s Way and Offa’s Dyke, are nearby, and the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park is about 25 miles away.

If you enjoy a day in the saddle, there are riding stables at Penybont. There are superb mountain-bike trails and bridleways, and we have facilities to store your bike or horse for the night. Bikes can be hired in Rhayader.

Builth Wells offers a picturesque parkland course. Llandrindod’s links are challenging and not for the faint-hearted. Book a round during your stay and we will take 10% off.Llandrindod Wells Golf Club
