What to Eat Mid-Wales offers many good eating establishments. It really depends on what you fancy.

In Howey Village you will find two public houses which offer fresh local produce. The Laughing Dog formerly the Bridge End Inn (01597) 822406 and the Drovers Arms (01597) 822508.

In Llandrindod Wells the Hotel Metropole is a wonderful place to dine in either the Radnor Restaurant or the newly refurbished Spencers Bar and Brasserie.

Also in Llandrindod Wells Middleton Street has a Chinese which offers take away or restaurant seating. An Indian and kebab take away plus an award winning indian restaurant.

Further afield there is the Stag at Titley Michelin star rated (35mins drive) or Hundred House Inn for pub grub.

As you appreciate, lots of places can change hands so it is best to check with us at Acorn Court for the latest and hottest places to eat. We can assure you there is a wide variety of eateries and once we know whether you want a huge steak or a wonderful vegetarian experience we can advise. We can also book a taxi should you not wish to drive.
